Temporary Closure of Roads in Kirkwall for St Magnus Festival Events 2021

Notice is hereby given that Orkney Islands Council has made an order in terms of section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to the effect that, in connection with St Magnus Festival events, the roads in Kirkwall shown in Column A of the Schedule will be closed, and parking will not be permitted, at the times shown in Column B of the Schedule. Emergency service vehicles are exempt from the prohibition.

Column B

Broad Street.
Castle Street, from Castle Street car park exit to Broad Street.
Palace Road.
Victoria Street, from Broad Street to Victoria Road.
Tankerness Lane, one way section only.
Watergate, from Buttquoy Place to Palace Road.

All roads in column A will be closed between 1.30pm and 4.30pm from Monday 7 June 2021 to Saturday 12 June 2021.
