Notice is hereby given that Orkney Islands Council has made an order in terms of section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 in connection with Remembrance Day events. The effect of the order will be that on Sunday 10 November 2019 the roads in Kirkwall specified in the Schedule hereto will be closed to vehicular traffic between 10:00 and 11:30 and 12:15 and 14:00 and parking will be prohibited between 10:00 and 14:00. Furthermore, Broad Street Car Park (next to The Reel) will be closed between 08:00 and 15:00. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic are available.

- Broad Street, Castle Street (between its junction with Broad Street and the Castle Street Car Park exit).
- Junction Road (from Castle Street Car Park entrance to Pickaquoy Road).
- Palace Road (from Broad Street to Watergate).

- Victoria Street (from Broad Street to Victoria Road).
