Orkney Islands Area Licensing Board

The Orkney Islands Area Licensing Board has received five applications for occasional licences to run concurrently –

Applicant: Georgina A Brown, The Murray Arms Hotel, Back Road, St Margaret’s Hope, Orkney, KW17 2SP.

Premises for Event: Garden at The Murray Arms Hotel, Back Road, St Margaret’s Hope, Orkney, KW17 2SP.

Nature of Event: Outdoor drinking area to facilitate business re-opening in accordance with Scottish Government restrictions during COVID-19.

Duration of Licences: To commence as soon as practicable and for a period of 14 days –

  • 11:00 to 24:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays;
  • 11:00 to 01:00 on Thursdays/Fridays, Fridays/Saturdays and Saturdays/Sundays; and
  • 12:00 to 24:00 on Sundays.

Whether alcohol will be consumed on the premises, or off, or both: On.

Date by which objections must be made: 1 July 2020.

Any objections and/or representations must be made to the Clerk to the Licensing Board, Council Offices, Kirkwall, KW15 1NY.
