Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of site personnel and road users while the replacement of illuminated bollards is carried out.
The Order will come into operation on Thursday 24 June 2021, for the period until and including Wednesday 7 July 2021, and its effect will be to close either (one) Grainshore Road, from its junction with Galt View to its junctions with the A965; or (two) Hatston Pier Road, between its junctions with Grainshore Road and Warness Park, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when the road is closed.
