Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of site personnel and road users while carriageway surface dressing works are carried out.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 3 May 2021 for the period until and including Friday 3 September 2021, and its effect will be to close sections of the roads, referred to in the Schedule available in the 'Related Downloads' section below, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when the road is closed.
