Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of site personnel and road users while the construction of new telecommunications access chambers and the installation of associated cables are carried out.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 14 June 2021 for the period until and including Sunday 15 August 2021 and its effect will be to close lengths of the B9044, South Ronaldsay when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when a length of the road is closed.
