Orkney Islands Council is advising surface dressing road works will continue in Sanday tomorrow, Tuesday 15 June.
Crews have completed Howe Road today (14 June) and are aiming to finish off the Airon Road by the end of today also.
Tomorrow, if needed, crews will return to Airon Road to finish there before heading to the following minor dead-end roads:
- Rue Road – works will be taking place on the full length.
- Ortie Road – works will take place from the junction with Oyce Road to Ortie.
Full road closures will be in place between 09:00 and 17:00 (and possibly later if the crew is close to finishing this stretch).
