Exhibition boards detailing the preferred concept for a new community park at Papdale in Kirkwall are now in place close to the path at Kirkwall Grammar School.
The design team led by HarrisonStevens landscape architects have been working alongside the Council, the Papdale East Playpark Association and other stakeholders on the detailed design work for the “Help Shape the Future of Papdale” project.
It is hoped as many people as possible will take a closer look at the exhibition boards - which feature the planning application drawings for the preferred concept - and engage with the process to ensure the park is a reflection of all aspirations. Comments can be made on the Planning Portal website, linked directly from the boards.
PEPA Chairwoman Lorraine Craigie said: “We would encourage as many folk as possible to have a look at the boards and share their thoughts with the team. The boards give an exciting insight into how fantastic the community park, which is for everyone no matter age or ability, could look.”
