Engineering and construction work are now complete at the Stromness Terminal Passenger Walkway.
The walkway suffered structural damage in 2019. Getting it up and running again has been a complex task and has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Where possible, considerable work has been managed remotely to enable the project to progress.
Commissioning and testing are now underway to ensure systems are operating as expected.
Once this is completed, there will be a period of training for Marine Services and NorthLink staff.
It is anticipated that the walkway will be fully operational again in late February.
