The Westray community are being invited along to the island school on Wednesday 28 July to meet Orkney’s new Area Commander Chief Inspector Ali Garrow.
He will be available from 2pm-4pm if residents would like to speak with him about any issues they may have.
Folk are asked just to pop along to the school and CI Garrow will be delighted to see you and introduce himself.
CI Garrow has worked in various specialist areas – from counter terrorism to emergency planning, however he has now come back to his roots in community policing.
Brought up in Aviemore, CI Garrow has previously served in Nairn, Skye, Fort William, Inverness, Dunblane and London.
