Information on Mental Health Support

Information on Mental Health Support
19 May 2020

Orkney Health and Care, in partnership with public and voluntary-sector agencies from throughout Orkney, have produced a leaflet that provides details of where you can find help and support with your mental health and wellbeing, along with some tips on how to stay well.

Lynda Bradford, Head of Service for Mental Health said: “As this is national Mental Health Awareness Week we thought it was the appropriate time to launch our leaflet. We want to encourage people to reach for help if they need it and this leaflet can help point people to the right support for them.”

The agencies and organisations featured in the leaflet want to make sure that people know they are open-for-business and ready to give their support wherever it is needed.

A copy of the leaflet can be found here. Paper copies can be obtained from the Police Station and the voluntary sector, or can be requested from OHACfeedback@orkney.gov.uk.
