Did you know you can take a virtual tour of St Magnus Cathedral?
Covid safety measures mean that visits to the Cathedral are currently restricted.
The building is open to visitors and for private prayer, but with no more than 30 folk allowed inside at any one time – and access limited to the nave.
But if you’d like to see more, just follow this link www.orkney.gov.uk/StMagnus for a video tour that will take you to all parts of the building, including the upper levels where the bells and intriguing artifacts like a hangman’s ladder can be found.
The short videos are an accessible way to explore the Cathedral and discover more about its long and remarkable history.
