Public Bus routes 4 (the Kirkwall Airport bus) and 9 (Kirkwall Town Service) are affected by road closures in place next week in central Kirkwall to allow filming and recording to take place for the St Magnus International Festival.
Roads around St Magnus Cathedral will be closed between 1.30pm and 4.30pm from Monday 7 June to Saturday 12 June inclusive including Broad Street, Palace Road, Tankerness Lane and part of Castle Street, Victoria Street and Watergate.
Passengers departing from Kirkwall should catch the bus from the Kirkwall Travel Centre rather than from Broad Street.
Bus number 4 will rejoin its usual route at the junction of Junction Road and Union Street. Bus number 9 will rejoin its usual route at Thoms Street.
