Bus Leaflet

A bus leaflet with a free Orkney DayRider ticket, worth £7.70, will be sent to all households across Orkney at the end of this month (May).

It is hoped the offer will encourage people to use more sustainable modes of travel, particularly if folk are finding the price of fuel and cost of living a strain at the moment.

The leaflet also promotes the Stagecoach Bus app which is a fantastic way to track your bus as you are waiting.

Contactless payment is accepted on board the buses and a reminder for anyone aged under 22, over 60 or disabled can travel for free if they have a National Entitlement Card or Young Scot card with the travel component loaded onto their card.

The summer transport guide is now available, and our revised bus timetables can be found online at www.orkney.gov.uk/transport or we can provide individual QR codes to access timetables for each route.
