The Orkney Islands Council (Tree Works, Kirkwall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during Orkney Islands Council’s works on trees either within or adjacent to the public roads specified in this Order.
The Order will be in operation from Monday 21 March 2022 to Sunday 27 March 2022 and its effect will be to close Albert Street (Laing Street to Broad Street), School Place, Union Street and Willow Road, all Kirkwall, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when a road is closed.
