What happens if I lose my Access Card for either Chinglebraes or Bossack waste transfer stations?

It is possible for a replacement access card to be sent out, however there will be a charge of £17.45 + VAT.

Please contact the commercial waste line at the council offices, and provide the following information, so that a replacement card can be shipped as quickly as possible:

  • Full name and Business Address.
  • Invoice Address.
  • Contact number.
  • Card Reference (if known). *

*Note for firms with multiple access cards, the card reference must be provided, so the team know which one to de-activate, to prevent locking the wrong card.

Card replacements are normally dispatched within 1-2 business days. They will be sent first class, so you should receive them within a few days.

Alternatively, you can come directly to the Council offices to collect the card, however you must notify the council first, and book a slot to visit customer services - telephone 01856873535. This is due to the ongoing COVID social distancing restrictions which are in place.
