What happens if I am unable to pay an invoice for my commercial waste/ recycling collection?

If you are unable to pay your invoice, you must get in touch with us as soon as possible (Telephone: 01856 873535 or salesinvoices@orkney.gov.uk) in order to set up a payment plan. Otherwise, if after 1 month from the date on your invoice, no payment has been made or if there is no payment plan in place, your service will be discontinued.

One mid-year change, charged at approx. £55, may be possible. Please get in touch with us at developmentandinfrastructure@orkney.gov.uk or phone us on 01856 873535.

Alternatively, an option could be to reduce the frequency of your collections, or you can request smaller bins to place your waste/recycling in.

Please contact us on 01856 873535 or email us at developmentandinfrastructure@orkney.gov.uk
