The Council has contacted all businesses in light of the new financial year and the need to get trade waste contract documentation out. For those businesses still operating and requiring a kerbside collection service, you will not be charged for recycling collections as these have been suspended. Your contract for the recycling aspect of your waste collection contract will effectively be ‘paused’ until such time as this service can be resumed. This also applies to those businesses who are not operating at all at the moment. Their trade waste contracts will only be charged from the date/point at which they resume business and require uplifts of trade waste and/or recycling.
