Born 13.08.1953 in Manchester.
Educated and more BA (hons). MA all in History.
Worked in factories initially and offshore.
Moved to Orkney 1982 to 1990 then 5 years in Berlin working for British Army (civilian). Back in Orkney 1995 and worked at Scapa Flow Museum, Criminal Justice Sector and now councillor.
