Expenses incurred by Councillors while carrying out their approved duties are re-imbursed by the Council and are subject to predetermined limits. The Record of Claims must be published by June 1 each year.
The published information includes costs for salaries and expenditure incurred by each Councillor on items such as travel expenses, information services and conference fees.
The Record of Claims are prepared in accordance with the Local Government (Allowances and Expenses) (Scotland) Regulations 2008.
The level of salaries paid to Councillors is determined by the Scottish Parliament.
