Orkney Islands Council is seeking feedback from the community on its Stromness Warehouse Buildings.
The facility opened in May last year and houses the town’s library, as well as Council Customer Service provision. It is open from Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 17:00 (11:00 on Saturdays) with late night opening until 19:00 on a Monday and Thursday.
The Council’s Customer Services Manager, Catherine Foubister, said: “We’ve had lots of positive feedback from the community since the Warehouse Buildings opened, and the signs are it really is becoming a hub – the number of people through the door is growing, and library memberships and borrowing have increased.
“But we are keen to see, for example, if there are things folk would like to see us doing from the buildings in the future, if opening times suit, and any other suggestions people may have.”
A short survey can be completed online via the link available from the 'Related Sites' section of this page.
Paper copies of the survey are also available and can be picked up from the Warehouse Buildings and from the Council’s Customer Services in Kirkwall.
The survey will close at the end of September 2016.
