Orkney Islands Council is seeking feedback after publishing a draft strategy for addressing fuel poverty in the county.
The document is available from the 'Related Downloads' section of this page – with comments invited by Friday May 19 May.
Fuel poverty is a problem facing many households in Orkney. A number of agencies have worked alongside the Council and together significant efforts have been made towards tackling fuel poverty.
The new draft strategy builds on that work and looks at how fuel poverty can be reduced and ultimately eradicated in Orkney.
The Council would encourage residents, businesses and other organisations to read the draft document and provide feedback. All comments will be taken into account before a final version is adopted.

Paper copies of both documents can be read at the Warehouse Buildings in Stromness and at Council Customer Services in Kirkwall.
