As a Council, we have a responsibility to look at how we deliver our services to the public in the event of Covid-19 cases in Orkney, with the aim of minimising any potential disruption. We already have Business Continuity Plans in place for the delivery of services in situations such as this. Following the decision by the Scottish Government to close schools and local authority nurseries provision is now in place for the children of key workers which will allow parents and carers to play their part in the national response to Covid-19.
