Coronavirus (Covid-19) - Community Resilience Groups
Orkney Islands Council relies on its partnership working with Community Councils – a network of volunteers who give their time freely.
Community Councils across Orkney have now been enlisted to support OIC in managing its response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Community Councils have set up “Community Resilience Groups” to assist with identifying and addressing local issues and priorities and sharing relevant safety messages and information from OIC, NHS Orkney and other key agencies.
