Contract Standing Orders

The purpose of Contract Standing Orders (CSO) is to set clear rules for the procurement of goods, works and services for the Council. The rules should ensure that the Council is fair and accountable in its dealings with contractors and suppliers.

Contract Standing Orders are also intended to ensure that the Council obtains value for money and that it is taking good care of public funds.
