Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of site personnel and road users while works are carried out to the sewer on behalf of Scottish Water.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 3 February 2020 for the period until and including Friday 7 February 2020 and its effect will be to close South End, Stromness from Mayburn Court to Ness Road when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when the road is closed.
