Orkney Islands Council has made the above named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to ensure the safety of site personnel and road users while construction work is being carried out adjacent to the road.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 23 September 2019 for the period until and including Sunday 29 September 2019, and its effect will be to close Burnmouth Road, Kirkwall when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when the road is closed.
