Orkney Islands Council is advising crews were unable to complete recycling collections today (Tuesday 9 March) in Areas 2 and 7, due to vehicle issues.
The affected households/areas are as follows:
- Cannigal Road – Glass & Plastic
- Hornersquoy – Glass & Plastic
- Rosebank – Glass
- Highland Park House & Lodges – Glass
- Lynnfield – Glass
- Lynn Park – Glass
- Burnside – Glass
These customers are advised a re-collection will take place this Saturday, 13 March – people affected should present their bins again on Saturday by 8am to ensure pickup.
The Council apologises for today’s disruptions and for any inconvenience caused.
