The pandemic has made vulnerable adults less visible. As part of National Adult Support and Protection Day 2022 on 20 February, people are being asked to keep an eye out for things that don’t look right, and to report concerns.

Dounby School to reopen in full
Dounby School will reopen to all classes from tomorrow, Wednesday, 9 February.
Although there remains a challenge in terms of COVID and other sickness absence among staffing at the school, it is possible for a full reopening thanks to the availability and willingness of supply teachers to assist.

Papdale Nursery partial opening
Papdale Nursery will only be partially open on Wednesday and Thursday 9-10 February due to insufficient staffing levels as a result of COVID and other sickness absence.
To avoid a full closure, different classes will be asked to stay home each day and parents have been notified this afternoon by the Nursery Manager, Caroline Easton.
