Evening Classes
A wide selection of evening classes are offered each year, in the Autumn and New Year. A guide is published annually in August with further details. The courses mainly take place at Orkney College, Kirkwall Grammar School and Stromness Academy; but courses are also offered in schools and community centres across the islands
This year's programme is published on Thursday, 19 August. The Guide to Courses 2010-11 gives details of evening classes and other courses across the county. You can enrol for courses at Orkney College by contacting the college (telephone 01856 569000). For courses at other centres contact Customer Services at the Council (telephone 01856 873535). You will need your debit or credit card to book courses by phone.
Orkney College will be holding an Information & Enrolment Evening at the college from 6.30 to 8.00 pm on Monday, 23 August where you can get more information and enrol for evening classes at the college.”
