Coaching/Training

In partnership with the Islands Forum, sportscotland and OSDG, the SDS are currently undertaking a coaching audit called CoachBase to identify coaches and their needs.

The SDS aims to improve the standard of performance for all through coach education and training whilst sharing sportscotlands 6 key areas:

• Coach Recruitment and Management
• Coach Development
• Coach Education
• Coach Support
• Marketing and Promotion
• Research and Learning
