An effective organisation depends on having in place a good quality team and at the Council we are proud of our committed, hardworking and talented employees.
The HR Service is responsible for the full range of HR services including employee recruitment and development; HR policies and procedures; terms and conditions of employment; and negotiation and engagement with staff and trade unions. Our Performance Service allows us to reflect on how we are doing as a Council and supports all services in continually evaluating and improving their performance. Equality is fundamental to everything we do as an organisation and we provide advice, support and guidance to ensure that we promote equality and eliminate discrimination, as well as fulfilling our statutory duties.
