Pre-School Enrolment

Details for pre-school enrolment are published in the local press, usually in February and March of each year. The 2012 information is available from the Related Downloads section.

 

Placing Requests

Though most parents choose to put their child to a pre-school setting in their local area, some parents may find it more convenient to use pre-school elsewhere. To ask for an alternative placement is called a placing request.

If this applies to you, please complete a placing request form and send it to Karen Walter, Educational Resources Adviser, in Education and Leisure Services. A placing request form is available from your local pre-school setting or can be downloaded from the Related Downloads section.

Acknowledgement of placing requests will be sent with final decisions being made in early May. Please note placing requests cannot be guaranteed.
