Orkney Educational Trust

The Education Committee of Orkney Islands Council in exercise of their powers under the above Trust, invite applications from persons belonging to the county of Orkney and from schools, associations, clubs etc, in the county of Orkney. Categories in which grants may be awarded in March 2012 include:

• Supplementary Bursaries for students attending university or other funded education establishment
• Post Graduate Scholarships
• Trade Grants to assist in obtaining practical experience of trades
• Educational Excursions
• Educational Travel for Youths/Youth Groups and/or Adults/Adult Groups
• Promoting Education in Music
• Promoting Education in Drama

 

OET Grants are not means tested with the available funds for each category being distributed equally beween eligible applicants. Typically awards would rarely exceed £50.00 in any category.

The closing date for applications is Friday, 24th February 2012.
