Online Planning Application Search
The ePlanning service is designed to give you easier access to details of planning applications submitted to Orkney Islands Council. The information is updated daily.
Please note that this service will be unavailable every night between 22:00 - 04:00 for essential maintenance.
You can:
- Search the online planning register for information on applications registered in the last 3 years.
- View copies of the plans and documents of applications received since the end of 2007. New applications and related documents are uploaded to the service within 5 working days of receipt.
- Monitor the progress of current applications from registration date through to decision date.
- Submit your comments about a current application.
- View copies of decision notices for decisions made since the end of 2007.
Plans and documents are stored in PDF format. A free PDF reader is available by clicking on the link under Related Sites. Should you have difficulty in reading the documents, please ensure that you are using the latest version of your PDF reader software.
