Transport Services for People who Experience Difficulty Accessing Public Transport
Dial-a-Bus
Dial-a-Bus is a service operated by Orkney Disability Forum. It provides door-to-door service for people with disabilities or mobility problems. It’s open to anyone living in or visiting Orkney who is unable to use public transport. The concessionary fares for Dial-a-Bus members are now one free return trip a week, courtesy of the OIC.
Booking Dial-A-Bus
Orkney Disability Forum take bookings for trips made between 9am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday – check with them about weekend journeys as well.
You can use Dial-a-Bus for almost any purpose - shopping, visiting friends, church, or social activities for example.
