Child Care
It is commonly known that the foundations for a full, rewarding adult life are laid in early childhood. Research shows increasingly that lifelong good health depends on a healthy and active lifestyle in the early years; that educational attainment requires sound pre-school development; and that emotional stability is nurtured in infancy.
Most of the care necessary to ensure a good start in life for young children is provided by parents, and the wider family and community; the government has been keen to ensure that this is supported by the availability of good quality childcare and pre-school education.
