Benefits Business Plan

The Council's Benefits Section administers Housing Benefit on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions and Council Tax Reduction on behalf of the Scottish Government. Its principal aim is to provide a statutory service in relation to the assessment and award of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction.

The Benefits Business Plan sets out the specific objectives and targets for the Council's Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction service.
