Orkney Islands Council has made the above named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to ensure the safety of site personnel and road users while a new sewer is installed.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 3 June 2019 for the period until and including Friday 2 August 2019 and its effect will be to close McLeod Drive, Kirkwall between numbers 2 and 16 and Pickaquoy Drive, Kirkwall between number 1 and the junction with McLeod Drive, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when the road is closed.
