Orkney Islands Council is advising that essential maintenance work is set to take place on Victoria Street in Kirkwall next week (Monday 26 February 2018 to Friday 2 March 2018).
Road closures will be needed while the work is carried out. Pedestrian access along the road will be unaffected throughout the duration of the works.
There will however be limited access for vehicles before 9am, between 12 noon and 1pm, and after 3.30pm.
It should be noted that the work is weather dependant and therefore may take longer than planned.
