Pupils at the Hope School have been lending a hand to the local MacMillan charity.
Members of the ‘Hup Helping Hands’ fundraising group have helped raise money for a new CD player in the Macmillan Ward treatment room at the Balfour Hospital.
The money was raised through a bake sale at the school.
The group is now going on to raise money for Comic Relief on March 24, when they’ll also hold a Downs Syndrome awareness day.
