The multi-agency Orkney Local Emergency Co-ordinating Group (OLECG) met today (Thursday 19 July) in response to the grounding of the freight vessel MV Priscilla on a skerry in the Pentland Firth.

Surface dressing is due to take place on Thursday and Friday this week (19 and 20 July) on a section of the B9047 (the main Moaness - Lyness - Longhope road) from the Hoy Hotel to just past the School (Hoy and North Walls Community School).
