Social Services and Housing

Members of the Social Services and Housing Committee help shape the development of services vital to the social welfare of people across the county. Community social services touch the lives of many of us, the old and the young, the disadvantaged and the vulnerable. As the committee name suggests, members also have a responsibility for a range of housing matters - including the provision of council houses.
