Planning and Protective Services

The Planning and Protective Services Committee has a wide range of responsibilities. They include environmental health, food safety, trading, planning and building standards, waste management, the promotion of energy efficiency, access to the countryside, the raising of environmental awareness, and civil emergency planning.
