Personal Profile

Elected to Council in 1994 and have subsequently chaired both Development and Environment, Planning and Protective Services. Currently Chair of Transportation and Infrastructure. Chair of Weyland Farms Ltd and a Director of Orkney Cheese Company. Member of the Orkney Renewable Energy Forum. Board member of the St Margaret’s Hope Pier Trust.

Educated at Deerness school and St Andrews school and run a beef farm at Esnaphy. Has 3 grown up daughters and a grown up son.
