Potential Sites for the Proposed Replacement of St Peter’s House

This page is for historical purposes only. This consultation is now closed.

Orkney Islands Council and Orkney Health and Care are looking for your views on potential sites for the proposed replacement of St Peter’s House.

The consultation looks at sixteen potential sites and we would particularly welcome your opinion on six of these as identified in the questionnaire.

Displays of the sites and hard copy questionnaires will be available at OIC Customer Services in Kirkwall and at Stromness Swimming Pool during the engagement period. Alternatively, you can view the information on all sites in the ‘Potential Sites’ pdf available from the ‘Related Downloads’ section of this page and fill in the online St Peter's House Questionnaire page available from the left hand menu on this page.

Further engagement with the community on building and service design will take place in future years if the project receives final financial approval from Councillors.

The next stage would be for officers to present a more detailed project outline, including a preferred site, to Councillors for further consideration.

The closing date for comments on the potential sites is Friday July 18.
