UK Parliamentary General Election – Thursday 7 May 2015
Voters went to the polls for the UK Parliamentary General Election on Thursday 7 May 2015. For the purposes of the UK Government, Orkney and Shetland formed a joint constituency. This year for the first time the votes were counted in Shetland. The results are available from this page.
An Election Petition has now been received regarding this election and in accordance with Section 121(4) of the Representation of the People Act 1983, the Returning Officer is required to publish that petition within the Constituency.
