Join the fight against food waste

Orkney is one of four communities selected by Zero Waste Scotland to benefit from free training sessions and events touring Scotland as part of this year's Food Waste Prevention Week, which takes place from 22-25 January. Read our press release to find out more about how you can get involved

Evening and daytime learning opportunities

The New Year programme of evening and daytime classes for 2018 is now available. You can enrol for all classes from Monday 8 January.

You can listen to debates as they happen in the Council Chamber. Meetings of the main Committees and the Full Council are broadcast live. We also provide a listen-again service, with audio recordings made available within two working days of the meetings taking place.
